Hello all I head a group of bloke ranging from aged 28 to 50 who are looking to undertake the way of the roses during May of this year as a follow on to the trans pennine ride we completed over 3 days at the same time of the year last year.
As the organiser I'm after some tips on accomodation and eating places on the route, we will be looking to get the 100 miles completed on the first day and finish the second day with a 70 miles run. Thank you in advance anybody who replies.Jason

Hi fathead1. We cycled WOTR last July and on our first day we cycled from Morecambe to York which is slightly over the 100 mile mark. We had lunch in Pateley Bridge (much needed after the decent into PB), and stayed in York YHA which is in an ideal location right on the route. Meals are available in the YH as is a great bike storage room. Hope this is helpful.
